The building of the old pharmacy was built in Lutsk by the Zlotsky family at the turn of the XVIII-XIX centuries. The pharmacy laboratory used more than 200 species of medicinal plants to prepare medicines, ointments, tinctures and syrups. In 1920, the extraction of artesian wells and the sale of mineral water were established here. In 1882, Lesya Ukrainka often bought medicines here.

Stara Vyzhivka Museum of Local Lore is located in the old post office building, built in the middle of the XX century. The funds have almost 4,000 exhibits. Stuffed animals are presented in the natural department. The ethnographic collection includes an old fan, a loom, embroidered shirts, barrels made of straw and willow, skeins and other household items. The history of firefighting is reflected in exhibits of both Ukrainian and Polish origin: pump, fire helmets, firefighters' clothes. The historical department presents archeological finds, cold steel weapons, fragments of pottery, and ornaments.

The Volodymyr-Volyn Historical Museum is housed in a 1912 building in the old square of the Capuchin monastery. The museum has 15,000 units. Among them is a unique collection of coins of the VI-XIX centuries, a collection of ancient books, works of art of Volyn masters of different epochs.

Volyn Museum of Local Lore is the largest and oldest museum in Volyn. Founded in 1929. It has been housed in the current building in the center of Lutsk since 1985. The funds contain more than 140 thousand exhibits representing nature, history, ethnography, art of the Volyn region. The museum has a rich collection of natural materials, collections of geological minerals, plants and animals. The museum's collections are presented in the exposition, which consists of sections of nature, ancient and modern history, thematic exhibitions. The exposition of the museum is located on an area of more than 2 thousand square meters. m in 23 stationary and 9 exhibition halls. It is built on thematic (nature department) and thematic-chronological principles (history department). The branches and departments of the Volyn Museum of Local Lore are the Kolodyazhne Literary Memorial Museum of Lesya Ukrainka, the Art Museum in Lutsk Castle, the Museum of the Volyn Icon, the Museum of the History of the Lutsk Brotherhood, and the V. Lypynsky Memorial Museum. The Museum of Ethnography and Folk Crafts of Volyn is created.

The Vyacheslav Lypynsky Memorial Museum in Zaturtsy was opened in 2011 in a restored manor house of the ancestral estate of the Lypynsky noble family. The house was built in 1871, a park was laid out around it. Vyacheslav Lypynsky, a prominent Ukrainian historian and public figure, was born here in 1882. He spent his childhood and adolescence here. The unique collection of personal belongings and documents of V. Lypynsky and his family was collected thanks to his relatives living abroad. The first editions of the historian's works, various documents (certificate of maturity, record, diploma of Hetman Pavel Skoropadsky), portraits of family members are presented. Fragments of the interiors of the house were recreated: "S. Lypynsky's Cabinet", "Gostinna", "V. Lypynsky's Cabinet".
