The current smithy-museum "Gamora" is a unique monument of blacksmithing. Built at the beginning. XIX century, when a dam was built on the river Lysychanka. Through the water channel, water flowed on the blades of wheels, which actuated heavy blacksmith's hammers weighing up to 125 kg. Under their blows, metal ingots turned into blanks for agricultural implements: shovels, hoes, plow parts, and so on. Four hammers were serviced by 16 craftsmen. At the beginning. XX century 5 water wheels with a capacity of 8 horsepower each worked. the smithy operated until 1998, when the dam was destroyed by floods. It was soon reconstructed and turned into a museum. There are four blacksmiths working here, who still make various tools for the villagers. Free entrance. Excursions are conducted by prior arrangement.

The exposition of the Khust Museum of Local Lore is located in six halls of a modern building in the city center. 2.5 thousand exhibits tell about the history of the region. There are departments of nature and general history, art gallery. Of particular interest is the exposition on the history of Carpathian Ukraine, the capital of which for some time was the city of Khust. The museum staff conducts tours of the city and its surroundings.

The Synevir Historical and Local History Museum was established at the ecological visit center of the Synevir National Nature Park. The exposition presents the life and way of life of Carpathian mountaineers: tools, utensils, clothes, shoes, etc. A special place is occupied by the exposition of the museum of timber rafting, destroyed in 1998 by floods. Here you can get acquainted with the models of buildings and units of mountain dams, with the technology of logging, tools of loggers.
