A large village on the left bank of the Lisichanka river between Irshava and Svalyava. For the first time the village was mentioned in documents of the 15th century. They say that in this area there are a lot of fox holes even now, which is where the name comes from. In 1760, a paper mill for Count Teleki was founded here. In the XVIII-XIX centuries. began to mine and process iron ore using water mills. The operating water blacksmith has survived, on the basis of which the "Gamora" museum has been opened. In June, the annual Gamora festival is held, which brings together blacksmiths from all over Ukraine. A pedestrian tourist route Lisichevo-Mizhgirya, as well as to the Kuk mountain valley, has been developed.
Велике село на лівому березі річки Лисичанки між Іршавою та Свалявою. Вперше село згадується в документах XV ст. Кажуть, що в цій місцевості і зараз дуже багато лисячих нір, звідки і пішла назва. В 1760 році тут було засновано підприємство з виробництва паперу графа Телекі. В XVIII-XIX ст. почали добувати й обробляти залізну руду, використовуючи водяні млини. Збереглася діюча водяна кузня, на базі якої відкрито музей "Гамора". В червні проходить щорічний фестиваль "Гамора", який збирає майстрів ковальської справи з усієї України. Розроблено пішохідний туристичний маршрут Лисичево-Міжгір'я, а також на полонину Кук.

The current smithy-museum "Gamora" is a unique monument of blacksmithing. Built at the beginning. XIX century, when a dam was built on the river Lysychanka. Through the water channel, water flowed on the blades of wheels, which actuated heavy blacksmith's hammers weighing up to 125 kg. Under their blows, metal ingots turned into blanks for agricultural implements: shovels, hoes, plow parts, and so on. Four hammers were serviced by 16 craftsmen. At the beginning. XX century 5 water wheels with a capacity of 8 horsepower each worked. the smithy operated until 1998, when the dam was destroyed by floods. It was soon reconstructed and turned into a museum. There are four blacksmiths working here, who still make various tools for the villagers. Free entrance. Excursions are conducted by prior arrangement.
