The current smithy-museum "Gamora" is a unique monument of blacksmithing. Built at the beginning. XIX century, when a dam was built on the river Lysychanka. Through the water channel, water flowed on the blades of wheels, which actuated heavy blacksmith's hammers weighing up to 125 kg. Under their blows, metal ingots turned into blanks for agricultural implements: shovels, hoes, plow parts, and so on. Four hammers were serviced by 16 craftsmen. At the beginning. XX century 5 water wheels with a capacity of 8 horsepower each worked. the smithy operated until 1998, when the dam was destroyed by floods. It was soon reconstructed and turned into a museum.
