Cities and villages of Zhmerynskyi district

Zhmerynskyi district is located in the western part of Vinnytsia region, on the territory of historical Podillya. The rivers Murafa (a tributary of the Dniester) and the Riv (a tributary of the Southern Bug) flow within the district. There are such historical and cultural monuments as Bar Castle, von Meck estate in Brailov, Zhmerynka railway station.

The administrative center of Zhmerynka district is the city of Zhmerynka. The area of the district is more than 3150 square kilometers. The population of the district exceeds 165 thousand people.
