The Juliusz Słowacki Literary Memorial Museum was opened in the estate of Januszewski (the poet's grandfather), where he spent his childhood in 1814-28. Pochaiv Historical and Art Museum was founded in 1959 on the initiative of A. Andriuk as a museum of atheism.
