Popasna Museum of Local Lore

The Popasna Museum of Local Lore was established in 1967 by S. Ioffe, a local historian from Popasna. In 1953, he began collecting exhibits for the museum, which was first housed in the №25 school and then moved to a specially spacious room on Herzen Street. The museum, to which Joffe has collected more than 8,000 exhibits, has become a business card of the city and is named after its founder - Popasnyansky Museum of Local Lore named after S. Ioffe.
