Vasylkiv Museum of Local Lore

Vasylkiv Museum of Local Lore is located in the building of the House of Culture in the center of Vasylkiv. The museum has 1,200 exhibits. Ancient tools, weapons, jewelry and other archeological material of the Stone Age, Trypillia culture, Scythian times and Ancient Russia, collected in particular during excavations near Vasilyevsky baby during the archaeological expedition in 1985. The ethnographic exposition presents tools, utensils and clothing , which were used by cornflowers in the past. There are also departments of collectivization of the 1920s and 1930s, cultural development of Vasylkivshchyna, the Second World War, and decorative and applied arts.
