Hryhoriy Synytsia Museum-apartment

The museum-apartment of the artist Hryhoriy Synytsia is a branch of the Kryvyi Rih City Museum of History and Local Lore. Well-known artist-Boychukist, author of the concept of "Ukrainian Color School", Honored Artist of Ukraine Hryhoriy Synytsia lived and worked in Kryvyi Rih from 1968 until his death in 1996. Here he completed his fundamental theoretical aesthetic and philosophical work "Color in Fine Arts", as well as worked on a new technique "Floromosaic". The memorial museum-apartment of the artist exhibits about 200 of his works, made in different techniques.

Kryvyi Rih Museum of History and Local Lore

Kryvyi Rih City Museum of History and Local Lore was founded in 1960. It is located in a Soviet building in the central part of the city. Natural and archeological collections, ethnographic and numismatic materials, works of fine and folk arts, photos and documentary sources on the history of Kryvyi Rih of the XIX-XX centuries are presented.

Ternivka Museum of History and Local Lore

The Ternivka branch of the Kryvyi Rih City Museum of History and Local Lore was founded in 1970 as a school museum in the village of Veseli Terny, which is now part of the city of Kryvyi Rih. Since 1981, the museum has a separate two-story building. Today the exposition presents archeological finds from the mounds of Kryvyi Rih, objects of the Cossack era, materials about the "Iron Fever" in Kryvyi Rih at the end of the XIX century and others. There are constant expositions about the nature and ethnography of the region.
