Mariupol Art Museum named after Arkhyp Kuindzhi opened in 2010 in the former mansion of the Geocinth family, built in the early twentieth century in the style of northern Art Nouveau. The exposition in 10 halls tells about the life and work of the outstanding Ukrainian landscape artist, master of light Arkhyp Kuindzhi, who was born in 1842 near Mariupol.
