Експозиція, сформована на основі частини колекції краєзнавчого музею, висвітлює історію Бердянська з часів заснування на початку ХІХ ст. до наших днів. Зокрема, представлені колекції самоварів та прасок ХІХ-ХХ ст. Конференц-зал музею увічнює пам'ять одного із засновників Бердянська – найсвітлішого князя, генерал-губернатора Новоросії та намісника Бессарабії М. Воронцова. Представлено галерею портретів родини Воронцових.
