Palace of Arts (Villa Bianchi), Drohobych

The Palace of Arts "Villa Bianchi" in Drohobych is a striking example of the architectural style of the Secession (Viennese Art Nouveau). XIX - beg. XX century The ornate dark green two-story building belonged to Dr. Roth, a radiologist. The house is described in B. Schultz's short story "Spring" as "Villa Bianca". Now it is the building of the Palace of Arts, which belongs to the Drohobych Museum and is used as an exhibition center. Here are the wall paintings by B. Schultz, discovered in 2001 at the "Villa Landau" in Drohobych. Thematic exhibition "Treasures of Count Lyantskoronsky" presents more than 150 items of highly artistic works of fine and decorative arts. Also presented Ukrainian painting of the twentieth century.

Палац мистецтв "Вілла Б'янки" у Дрогобичі – яскравий зразок архітектурного стилю сецесії (віденського модерну) кін. XIX – поч. XX ст. Багато оформлена темно-зелена двоповерхова будівля належала доктору-рентгенологу Й. Ротту. Будинок описаний у новелі Б. Шульца "Весна" як "Вілла Бьянки". Зараз це будівля Палацу мистецтв, що належить музею "Дрогобиччина", і використовується як виставковий центр. Тут представлені настінні малюнки Б. Шульца, виявлені в 2001 році на "Віллі Ландау" в Дрогобичі. Тематична виставка "Скарби графа Лянцкоронського" представляє понад 150 предметів високохудожніх творів образотворчого та декоративно-ужиткового мистецтва. Також представлено український живопис ХХ ст.
