General information about Gorokhiv Historical Museum (Horokhiv)
The Gorokhiv Historical Museum was founded in 1967 as a museum of revolutionary, military and labor glory. The organizer and first director was local historian O. Maksymenko. The exposition is located in a two-story building and has the following main sections: "Formation of Ukrainian statehood", "Gorokhiv region in the Second World War", ethnographic. The museum has opened a number of exhibitions, among them: "Rehabilitated by history", a photo exhibition dedicated to the anniversary of Independence of Ukraine "My Native Peas".
Горохівський історичний музей засновано в 1967 році як музей революційної, бойової та трудової слави. Організатором та першим директором був краєзнавець О. Максименко. Експозиція розгорнута у двоповерховому будинку та має такі основні розділи: "Формування української державності", "Горохівщина у Другій світовій війні", етнографічний. У музеї відкрито низку виставок, серед них: "Реабілітовані історією", фотовиставка до річниці Незалежності України "Рідний мій Горохів".
