Bilorichytsia

The village of Belorechitsa is located 35 km northwest of Priluki. It was first mentioned in 1629. In 1717, Belorechitsa was bought by Count Weisbach. The next owner was an officer of the Izmailovsky regiment A. Gumpf, then Colonel I. Korbe, whose house was visited by T. Shevchenko. Since 1873, Belorechitsa was owned by E. Volkonskaya-Rakhmanova, the daughter of the Decembrist O. Volkonsky. Aleksandr Yulievich Yagno, an architect, artist and master of artistic ceramics, lived and worked in the village. It was with his hand that all residential and household buildings were built on the Rakhmanov estate.
