Sofiivka

A large village on the Kiev-Dniprok highway, at the turn to Kanev. It has been known since the 19th century. as the Ivanenkov farm of the landowner Ivanenko, then renamed in honor of his wife Sofia. Now the village specializes in roadside service - there are many restaurants, cafe, shops.

Велике село на трасі Київ-Дніпро, біля повороту на Канів. Відоме з XIX ст. як хутір Іваненків поміщика Іваненка, потім перейменований на честь його дружини Софії. Зараз село спеціалізується на придорожньому сервісі - тут безліч ресторанів, кафе, магазинів.
