Karpaty

A village on the Kiev-Chop highway, 18 km from Mukachevo. Since the XIX century. known as the town of Beregvar, on the territory of which in 1890 a romantic country palace of the aristocratic Schönborn family was built. Nearby there is a park with a lake, the contours of which repeat the borders of the Austro-Hungarian Empire at the end of the 19th century. Now it is the territory of the Karpaty sanatorium.

Село на трасі Київ-Чоп, в 18 км від Мукачева. З XIX ст. відоме як містечко Берегвар, на території якого в 1890 році був побудований романтичний заміський палац аристократичної родини Шенборнів. Поруч розбитий парк з озером, контури якого повторюють кордони Австро-Угорської імперії кінця XIX ст. Зараз це територія санаторію "Карпати".
