A village in the south of the Beregovsky district, 7 km from the regional center, 3 km from the Ukrainian-Hungarian border. On the island, which is now in the middle of a neighboring swamp, an ancient Russian settlement of the 13th century, nicknamed "Lake Castle", was discovered. The village was first mentioned in 1356, and then belonged to the Hungarian crown. For centuries it was in the possession of various Hungarian landowners, meetings of the Beregovo noble committee were held here. The Reformed Church and the Greek Catholic Church have survived. To the southwest is the medieval King's Bridge. Green tourism with the Hungarian national flavor is developing.
