Poliana

Polyana is an old village on the Svalyava-Zhdeniyevo highway, next to the Kiev-Chop highway. In the XVII century. became famous as one of the centers of the Oprishkov movement in Transcarpathia. Since the 18th century. belonged to the Earls of Schönborn, who began to develop the resort infrastructure on the mineral water springs discovered here. In the XX century. the industrial bottling of mineral waters was mastered, the most famous of which are now "Polyana Kvasova" and "Polyana Kupel". The sanatoriums "Polyana", "Kvitka Poloniny" and "Khrustalne Dzherelo" use them to treat diseases of the digestive system.

Поляна - старовинне село на трасі Свалява-Жденієво, поруч з трасою Київ-Чоп. У XVII ст. прославилося як один із центрів опришківського руху на Закарпатті. З XVIII ст. належало графам Шенборнам, які почали розвивати курортну інфраструктуру на виявлених тут джерелах мінеральних вод. У XX ст. було освоєно промисловий розлив мінеральних вод, найвідомішими з яких зараз є "Поляна Квасова" та "Поляна Купель". Санаторії "Поляна", "Квітка полонини" та "Кришталеве джерело" застосовують їх для лікування захворювань органів травлення.
