The village of Rubanovskoye on the river. Solomchina is located 25 km west of Vasilkovka. Founded in the 18th century. as Grigorievka by the representative of the Cossack foreman G. Vasilenko, who served as a clerk of the Kodak ferry before the dissolution of the Zaporizhzhya Sich. Later the village was renamed in honor of the Cossack P. Ruban who settled here. The Church of the Intercession (the so-called "Red"), built in the middle of the 19th century, has been preserved. XIX century. Ekaterina Vasilenko, widow of court counselor I. Vasilenko. In 1906, the Znamensky Monastery was established at the church.
