Borshchiv

Borshchev - the city on the river Nichlava, 25 km from the highway Ternopil-Chernivtsi. Known since 1456. It is believed that the name is associated with a popular dish of Ukrainian cuisine; in September, the annual "Festival of Borshch" is held. In the city, noteworthy is the Church of the Mother of God (18th century), the bell tower of which was rebuilt from the defensive tower of the 17th century castle, as well as the "Ruskyy House", where the local history museum is located. Due to the presence of several hotels and other tourist infrastructure, the city is a convenient base for traveling around the surrounding area: Bilche-Zolotoe, Krivche, Ozeryany, Visechka.

Борщів - місто на річці Нічлава, в 25 км від траси Тернопіль-Чернівці. Відоме від 1456 року. Вважається, що назва пов'язана з популярною стравою української кухні, у вересні проводиться щорічний "Фестиваль борщу". У місті варті уваги костел Божої Матері (XVIII ст.), дзвіниця якого перебудована з оборонної вежі замку XVII ст., а також "Руський дім", в якому розташований краєзнавчий музей. Завдяки наявності декількох готелів та іншої туристичної інфраструктури місто є зручною базою для подорожей по околицях: Більче-Золоте, Кривче, Озеряни, Висічка.
