The village of Tynitsa is located in the upper reaches of the river. Maly Romen, 7 km southeast of the town of Bakhmach. Founded by people from the Right-Bank Ukraine. For the first time in written sources, Tinitsa was mentioned in 1659, when the headquarters of the army of hetman I. Vygovsky and khan Mehmed IV Girya were located here (from here the allied army moved to Konotop, where it defeated the troops of Muscovy). The village then belonged to Colonel A. Rebrikovsky, and after the end of the Northern War passed to the family of Kochubeev. The Kochubes laid the foundation for a park and a manor, which have survived to this day. In 1841 a wooden Intercession Church was built. The last owners of the estate were the landowners of Galagani.
