The Tulchyn Museum of Local Lore was organized in 1927 on the initiative of ethnographer I. Zborovsky. The exposition is located in the former building of the Officers' Assembly, where meetings of the Southern Society of Decembrists were held in the XIX century. 14 departments represent the history of the city from ancient times to the end of the XX century. Among them are departments dedicated to the Potocki family, commander O. Suvorov, composer Mykola Leontovych.

Тульчинський краєзнавчий музей організовано в 1927 році з ініціативи етнографа І. Зборовського. Експозиція розміщена в колишній будівлі Офіцерського зібрання, в якій у ХІХ столітті проходили зустрічі Південного товариства декабристів. 14 відділів представляють історію міста з найдавніших часів до кінця XX ст. У тому числі є відділи, присвячені родині Потоцьких, полководцю О. Суворову, композитору Миколі Леонтовичу.
