General information about Museum of the History of Firefighting (Lviv)
The fire and technical exhibition of the Ministry of Emergencies was opened in the building of the Fire Safety Department in Lviv region. The first hall reflects the history of fire development in Galicia and, in particular, in Lviv. Among the exhibits is an Austrian-made pump from 1849. The second hall is dedicated to the everyday life of firefighters. The exposition concludes with a hall dedicated to the Chernobyl disaster.
Пожежно-технічна виставка ГУ МНС відкрита в будівлі Управління пожежної безпеки у Львівській області. В першій залі відображено історію розвитку пожежної справи на Галичині та, зокрема, у Львові. Серед експонатів - насос австрійського виробництва 1849 року. Друга зала присвячена бойовим будням вогнеборців. Експозицію завершує зал, присвячений Чорнобильській катастрофі.
