Cultural and entertainment complex "Mamaeva Sloboda" is a reconstruction of the Cossack village of the XVIII century. On the territory of 9.2 hectares there are 98 different objects, among which the wooden church of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary occupies a prominent place. There is also a townhouse of a Cossack sergeant, a regimental treasury in the Ukrainian Baroque style, a palanquin (Cossack outpost), estates of a blacksmith and a potter, taverns and many other ethnographic objects that recreate the life of the Cossacks. The complex is named after the legendary Cossack Mamaia, one of the most popular characters in Ukrainian folklore. Folk festivals take place here on major holidays.
