The village of Letichev is a regional center at the confluence of the river. Wolf in r. Southern Bug, on the Vinnitsa - Khmelnitsky highway. It has been known since 1362, when the Lithuanian feudal lords began building the first fortress. Magdeburg Law since 1429. In 1598, the Kamenets mayor J. Potocki erected a stone castle. A round tower and fragments of walls have survived, which later became part of the Dominican monastery complex. The Assumption Church (XVI-XVII centuries) is the sanctuary of the icon of the Letichevsk Mother of God - the patroness of Podolia.
