Chortoryia

The village of Chertoria is located near Vashkovtsi. Known since the 17th century. The palace of the landowners of Manescu, built in the 19th century, was kept in secret. (now a neurological dispensary). The famous Ukrainian actor Ivan Mykolaichuk was born in Chortoria (a museum was opened). There is a lake on the territory of the village, the water in which does not freeze, because hot springs are gushing from the bottom. Hundreds of swans flock to the lake every winter.

Село Чортория розташоване поруч з Вашківцями. Відоме з XVII ст. Зберігся палац землевласників Манеску, збудований в XIX ст. (зараз неврологічний диспансер). В Чорториї народився відомий український актор Іван Миколайчук (відкрито музей). На території села є озеро, вода в якому не замерзає, оскільки з дна б'ють гарячі джерела. Щорічно взимку на озеро злітаються сотні лебедів.
