Tubil'tsi

The village of Tuboltsy (Tubil'tsy) on the right bank of the Dnieper is located near Moshen, 40 km north-west of Cherkassy. It was first mentioned indirectly in 1649 in the register of the Moshenskaya hundred of the Cherkasy regiment. According to one of the versions, the name of the village Tuboltsy comes from the Ukrainian word "tubiltsi" (natives). It is known that in 1702 in Tuboltsy, on the site of the destroyed Cossack temple, a new Intercession Church was built. The current wooden church of St. Nicholas was founded in 1843 by Prince M. Vorontsov, who at that time owned these lands.

Село Тубільці на правому березі Дніпра розташоване поблизу Мошен в 40 км на північний захід від Черкас. Вперше опосередковано згадується в 1649 році в реєстрі Мошенської сотні Черкаського полку. За однією з версій, назва села Тубільці походить від українського слова "тубільці" (туземці). Відомо, що в 1702 році в Тубільцях на місці зруйнованого козацького храму була збудована нова Покровська церква. Нинішній дерев'яний храм Св. Миколая заснований в 1843 році князем М. Воронцовим, який в ті часи володів цими землями.
