The village of Vereshchaki on the r. Zubrya is located 10 km east of Lysyanka. It has been known since 1741, when the village was acquired by the owner Kalinovsky as part of the Lysyansky estate. From 1864 it belonged to the Branitsky Counts. The wooden Church of the Intercession, built in 1775, has been preserved.
