The village of Lopatin is located 20 km southeast of Radekhov. It was first mentioned in 1366 as the volost center of the Belz principality. The ramparts of the ancient settlement are located 1.5 km west of the present center of Lopatin. The Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary (1772) has been preserved. By the road to Brody there is a wooden Assumption Church (1928), built according to the project of architect. J. Rudnitsky.
