The village of Novy Vitkov above the river. Buzhok is located 10 km west of Radekhov. It was first mentioned in documents in 1469. In the 18th century. Novy Vitkov belonged to Count Pototsky. The famous opera singer A. Mishuga was born here in 1853 (a museum was opened). The wooden Church of the Transfiguration (1738) and the ruins of a Catholic church (1675) have been preserved.
Село Новий Витків над річці Бужок розташоване в 10 км на захід від Радехова. В документах вперше згадується в 1469 році. В XVIII ст. Новий Витків належав графу Потоцькому. В 1853 році тут народився знаменитий оперний співак О. Мішуга (відкрито музей). Збереглася дерев'яна Преображенська церква (1738 р.) та руїни католицького костелу (1675 р.).

The museum of opera singer Oleksandr Myshuha was opened in the village of Novyi Vytkiv, where he was born in 1853. An outstanding Ukrainian tenor won world recognition in the late XIX - early XX centuries, performing on the best stages of many European capitals: Paris, Rome, Vienna and others. According to the will, in 1922 he was buried in his native village. The Myshuga Museum was opened in the People's House of Novy Vytkov. The exposition tells about his life and work, about relations with outstanding contemporaries - I. Franko, M. Lysenko, S. Krushelnytska, M. Mentsynsky. Visitors can listen to Mishuga's tape recording.
