Staryi Uhryniv

The village of Stary Ugryniv is located 15 km south of Kalush. Known since the 15th century. Founded by immigrants from Transcarpathia - Hungarians (Ugrians), which is the reason for the name. According to another version, the name of the first settler was Grina. Stary Ugrynov is known as the birthplace of the outstanding Ukrainian politician, leader of the OUN S. Bandera (a museum is open).

Село Старий Угринів розташоване в 15 км на південь від Калуша. Відоме з XV ст. Засноване переселенцями із Закарпаття - угорцями (уграми), з чим і пов'язана назва. За іншою версією, першого поселенця звали Гриня. Старий Угринів відомий як батьківщина видатного українського політичного діяча, лідера ОУН С. Бандери (відкрито музей).
