The village of Petropavlovskaya Borschagovka is a western suburb of Kiev. Located just behind the Great Ring Road. Founded early. XVIII century, belonged to the Peter and Paul (Greek) monastery. In 1828-23. the village was the center of the Petropavlovsko-Borschagovskaya volost of the Kiev district, and in 1937 it became part of the Kiev-Svyatoshinsky district. The Church of St. Simeon the Stylite was founded in 1755, rebuilt in stone in 1909.

Село Петропавлівська Борщагівка - західне передмістя Києва. Розташоване одразу за Великою Кільцевою дорогою. Засноване на початку XVIII ст., належало Петропавлівському (Грецькому) монастирю. В 1828-23 рр. село було центром Петропавлівсько-Борщагівської волості Київського повіту, а в 1937 році увійшло до складу Києво-Святошинського району. Церкву Св. Симеона Стовпника засновано в 1755 році, в камені відбудована в 1909 році.
