The village of Lukashi on the r. Sukhoberezitsa is located 10 km south of the highway H-07 "Kiev - Sumy", 65 km east of Kiev. Founded early. XVII century. the Lukash family, migrants from the Right Bank. It was part of the Berezanskaya hundred of the Pereyaslavl regiment. By the end of the century, the village passed into the possession of Pereyaslavl Colonel R. Dmitrashko-Reich, then his descendants. At the same time, the Mikhailovskaya Church was founded. The current wooden church of the Archangel Michael was built in 1892-96.
