Hutsulshchyna National Nature Park is located in a picturesque forest part of the Pokutsko-Bukovynian Carpathians. Its area is over 32 thousand hectares. The relief combines foothills and mountain ranges. The lower part is dominated by deciduous forests, the lowlands are covered with beech and hornbeam forests, and at the height grows mainly Carpathian spruce (spruce). 19 species of animals living here are listed in the Red Book. These places are interesting because they have preserved ancient crafts, folk crafts, traditions and customs of the Hutsuls. Many tourist routes pass through the territory of the national park. Ecological cognitive paths are laid here, equestrian tourism, rural green tourism, ethnotourism are developed. Fans of water recreation are attracted by the rapids and waterfalls of the river Lyuchka, Pistynka, Cheremosh. The Museum of Nature operates in the central estate of the Hutsulshchyna National Park.

The Kosiv Museum of Folk Art and Life of the Hutsul Region presents a rich collection of folk handicrafts: wood carving, pottery, artistic weaving, embroidery. The exposition acquaints with the folk decorative and applied art of the region of XIX-XX centuries. Of special artistic value is the collection of works by the family of carvers Shkryblyak from the village of Yavorova.

The museum of the Kosiv State Institute of Decorative and Applied Arts was founded in 1936 by the first director of the Kosiv Art and Industrial School O. Solomchenko. Currently, the museum has more than 3 thousand units. The exposition presents Hutsul folk art of the XIX - first half. XX century, works of famous masters of Kosiv region of the second half of the XX century, diploma works of students of the educational institution 1975-2009. In particular, the works of prominent artists of the Hutsul region are presented: Yu. Skriblyak, M. Megedyniuk, V. Devdyuk and others.

The Kosiv Museum of the Liberation Struggle of the Prykarpattia Region is dedicated to the historical events of 1920-54, when the struggle of the Ukrainian people for independence took place in Ukraine, in particular in Prykarpattia. The exposition covers the heroic struggle of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army, the activities of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists, the struggle of civilians against the occupation regimes, repressions against patriots. The interior of the guerrilla shelter has been recreated.
