The low-mountain resort village of Tatarov is located between Yaremche and Vorokhta. The wooden church of St. Dmitry (XVIII century) has been preserved. Perhaps the first settlers were the Tatars. In the XIX century. the village became a famous climatic resort. Now a private hotel business and green tourism are developing here, residents offer inexpensive housing to tourists who come in winter to the Bukovel ski resort located 10 km away. Hiking trails to the Khomyak and Sinyak mountains begin from here.
