Enerhodar

The city of Zaporozhye power engineers Energodar is located on the left bank of the Dnieper (Kakhovskoe Reservoir). It arose in 1970 during the construction of the Zaporozhye State District Power Plant. In 1979, the construction of the Zaporizhzhya NPP, the largest nuclear power plant in Europe, began here. It was one of the last shock construction projects in the USSR, where graduates of the best universities in the country gathered. The first 4 power units of ZNPP were put into operation in 1984-87, and the last 6th unit was put into operation in 1995. Місто запорізьких енергетиків Енергодар розташоване на лівому березі Дніпра (Каховське водосховище). Виникло в 1970 році при будівництві Запорізької ГРЕС. В 1979 році тут почалося спорудження Запорізької АЕС - найбільшої атомної електростанції в Європі. Це була одне з останніх ударних будівництв СРСР, куди з'їхалися випускники кращих ВНЗ країни. Перші 4 енергоблоки ЗАЕС були введені в експлуатацію в 1984-87 рр., а останній шостий блок запрацював в 1995 році.
