Melitopol

The city of Melitopol is a large regional center at the intersection of two major transport routes. Sloboda Novoaleksandrovka emerged at the end of the 18th century, when fugitive Cossacks settled near Sandy Mountain. Previously, the Scythians and Greeks lived here, who founded the city of Melita at the beginning of our era. In 1842 the settlement received the status of a city and was renamed Melitopol. Park them. M. Gorky (1927) is a monument of gardening art. The natural monument "Stone Tomb" is located 10 km from the city.

Місто Мелітополь - великий райцентр на перетині двох великих транспортних магістралей. Слобода Новоолександрівка виникла в кінці XVIII ст., коли біля Піщаної гори оселилися козаки-втікачі. Раніше тут жили скіфи і греки, які заснували місто Меліта на початку н.е. В 1842 році поселення отримало статус міста та було перейменоване в Мелітополь. Парк ім. М. Горького (1927 р.) є пам'яткою садово-паркового мистецтва. У 10 км від міста розташований природна пам'ятка "Кам'яна могила".
