A village in a recreational area 30 km north-west of Kiev along the Warsaw highway. Founded in 1911 during the construction of the Kiev-Kovel railway. Initially, the village was called Nemeshaevo-2 in honor of the head of the South-Western railway K. Nemeshaev, but 2 years later it was renamed in his honor to Klavdievo - by name. In Soviet times, one of three factories of Christmas tree decorations in the USSR was built here, which is still operating (winter pre-New Year excursions are popular). Nearby there is a reserved tract Babka with the lake of the same name.
