Sloboda

The village of Sloboda is located on the northern outskirts of Kagarlyk. It has been known since 1792 as Kagarlytskaya Sloboda, a tax-free settlement founded by descendants of refugees from the Polish oppression returning from the Left Bank. In the beginning. XIX century. Sloboda belonged to the estate of D. Troshchinsky, Minister of Justice in the government of the Russian Emperor Alexander I. In 1852, Major General A. Troshchinsky built in the village the Church of St. Anna, which has survived to this day.

Село Слобода розташоване на північній околиці Кагарлика. Відомо з 1792 р як Кагарлицькому Слобода, вільний від податків поселення, засноване повертаються з Лівобережжя нащадками біженців від польського гніту. У поч. XIX ст. Слобода належала маєтку Д. Трощинського, міністра юстиції в уряді російського імператора Олександра I. В 1852 році генерал-майор А. Трощинський побудував в селі церкву Св. Анни, яка збереглася понині.
