City over Luga in the west of the Volyn region, 30 km south of Volodymyr-Volynskiy. For the first time Ivanichi was mentioned in 1545 as part of the Lithuanian principality, although it is possible that the settlement arose much earlier. Named after the founder of the Ivanitsky family. It was part of Poland, then the Russian Empire. Intensive development began only after the Second World War. In recent years, the Kazan Church, which was founded in the 19th century, burned down in 1969, has been restored.
