The village of Mankovtsy on the river. The moat is located 15 km east of Bar. According to legend, the village used to be called Tyagin, but it was renamed in honor of a certain landowner Manka, who became famous for her charity work. It was first mentioned in 1539, when the Polish queen Bona Sforza annexed Mankovtsy to her Podolsk possessions. Later belonged to the Vyhovsky, Lubomirsky, Poninsky and others. The landowner I. Dembsky in 1763 founded the Church of the Holy Trinity, which in its present form was built in 1789. The last owners of the village were the landowners Lvov. Also preserved is the wooden Intercession Church (1882).
