Komarhorod

The village of Komargorod is located between Tulchin and Tomashpol. Known since the 15th century. as a fortified place Komar-gorodok. Named after the first owner - the Polish gentry Komar. Then it belonged to the princes Chetvertinsky, who built a palace-chalet here in the Swiss style. The palace is located in the middle of an old park, which acquired its present form in the late 19th century. XIX century. under the last owner of the estate, Gref Balashov. There is also a preserved church from the 18th century. and Stefanovskaya church of the XIX century.

Село Комаргород розташоване між Тульчином і Томашполем. Відоме з XV ст. як укріплене містечко Комар-городок. Назване на честь першого власника - польського шляхтича Комара. Потім належало князям Четвертинським, які звели тут палац-шале в швейцарському стилі. Палац розташований посеред старого парку, який отримав нинішній вигляд в кінці XIX ст. при останньому власнику садиби графі Балашові. Також зберігся костел XVIII ст. і Стефанівська церква XIX ст.
