Svitiaz'

The village of Svityaz is a famous resort on the shores of Lake Svityaz near Shatsk. It was first mentioned in the 16th century. On the shore of the lake there is the Peter and Paul Church, built in the 19th century. on the site of an older wooden temple. In the village of Svityaz there is a large boarding house "Shatsk Lakes", other tourist centers and recreation centers of Soviet construction. Recently, more and more private cottages appear, some of which function as hotels. There is an atocamping in the coastal area.

Село Світязь - відомий курорт на березі озера Світязь поруч з Шацьком. Вперше згадується в XVI ст. На березі озера знаходиться Петропавлівська церква, побудована в XIX ст. на місці більш давнього дерев'яного храму. У селі Світязь розташований великий пансіонат "Шацькі озера", інші турбази та бази відпочинку радянської побудови. Останнім часом з'являється все більше приватних котеджів, частина з яких функціонує як готелі. У прибережній зоні є атокемпінг.
