Forest Volyn village 15 km northeast of Kovel, where the Ukrainian poet Lesya Ukrainka often visited as a child. Here she heard the Volyn legends about the fabulous inhabitants of the Polissya thickets, which subsequently inspired her to create many wonderful literary works. Nearby is the Nechimnoe tract, where a museum of Lesya Ukrainka's drama-extravaganza "Forest Song" has been created. There is no tourist infrastructure in the village, but the road to the reserve is marked with signs.

The picturesque tract Nechymne with a lake in the middle of a protected forest is described by Lesya Ukrainka in the poem "Forest Song". There was a forest estate, where young Lesya spent the summer months visiting Uncle Leo - the prototype of one of the characters of the famous drama extravaganza. It was from him that the future poetess heard many fairy tales about monkeys, mermaids, foresters and other characters of folklore. Today there is a small museum house, Uncle Lev's well, a gallery of wooden sculptures. The lake itself is almost completely overgrown, cleaning works are not carried out.
