Zolotoe is a village on the eastern edge of the Kazantip Bay (Sea of Azov), near Cape Chagany. 3 km to the east of the cape there is an ancient settlement of Zolotoye (II-I centuries BC). In the Middle Ages, the village of Chegene (gypsies) arose nearby, renamed in 1944. There are several recreation centers.
