Obodivka

The village of Obodovka is located 15 km south of Trostyanets. Back in the X century. here, on the Miska mountain, there was a Slavic settlement (a landscape reserve was created). The current village was first mentioned in the 16th century. as Badovka, but in 1569 the Podolsk landowner Obodovsky renamed it Obodovka. In the XVII-XVIII centuries. the village was owned by the princes Vishnevetsky, Lubomirsky, Pototsky. In the beginning. XIX century, when Obodovka belonged to the landowner M. Sobansky, it received the status of a town, Jews began to settle here, which contributed to economic development.
