Chetvertynivka

The village of Chetvertinovka on the river. Batog is located 15 km northeast of Trostyanets. Known since the 16th century. as the property of the princes Chetvertinsky. In 1652, at the foot of Mount Batog, not far from the village, the Batozhskaya battle took place between the troops of Hetman B. Khmelnitsky and the Polish army of the full hetman of the crown M. Kalinovsky, in which the Cossacks won a brilliant victory. At the site of the battle, the Bogdanova Krynitsa was preserved, a memorial sign was installed, and a museum of the Batozh battle was opened. In the XIX century. The quarter belonged to the landowner Sabansky, then became state property. It is planned to create a historical and cultural reserve "Batog".

Село Четвертинівка на річці Батіг розташоване в 15 км на північний схід від Тростянця. Відоме з XVI ст. як власність князів Четвертинських. В 1652 році біля підніжжя гори Батіг неподалік від села відбулася Батізька битва між військами гетьмана Б. Хмельницького та польською армією польного гетьмана коронного М. Калиновського, в якій козаки здобули блискучу перемогу. На місці битви збереглася Богданова криниця, встановлено пам'ятний знак, відкрито музей Батізькою битви. В XIX ст. Четвертинівка належала поміщику Сабанському, потім перейшла в державну власність. Планується створення історико-культурного заповідника "Батіг".
