The resort village of Novy Svet is located 7 km west of Sudak, for the first time it was mentioned in Genoese sources as the settlement of Paradise. Famous for the Novy Svet sparkling wine factory, which produces the best sparkling wine in Eastern Europe. The founder of the production book. L. Golitsyn acquired the estate in 1878, and already in 1900 his champagne won the Grand Prix in Paris. There is the Golitsyn House-Museum with a tasting room, guided tours of the plant. "Golitsynskaya trail" runs from the embankment along the Koba-Kaya mountain past the Chaliapin grotto to picturesque bays and beaches. At the foot of Mount Sokol are the remains of a cave monastery of the 13th-15th centuries.
