The village of Solnechnogorskoye is located on the shores of the Black Sea, at the foot of Mount Sunduryas, 20 km north-east of Alushta. Known since the 16th century. like Kuru-Ozen. A large Greek community lived here, taken out in 1778-79. under Empress Catherine II on the shores of the Sea of Azov. A few years later, these lands were granted to the collegiate adviser D. Troshchinsky, later passed to the merchant of the 1st guild Stieglitz, then to the doctor P. Lange and his descendant. Село Сонячногірське розташоване на березі Чорного моря, біля підніжжя гори Сундурюас, в 20 км на північний схід від Алушти. Відоме з XVI ст. як Куру-Озен. Тут проживала велика грецька громада, вивезена в 1778-79 рр. при імператриці Катерині II на береги Азовського моря. Через кілька років ці землі були подаровані колезькому раднику Д.
