The village on the river Uda, located on the Kharkiv-Sumy tarss a few kilometers west of Kharkiv. The Sinolitsevka farm arose in the 17th century, and in 1650 the village of Sinolitsevka (later - Solonytsivka) was formed, a wooden Mikolaevska church was built. In 1663 the Kuryazhsky monastery was founded by the Kharkov colonel G. Donets. Its main temple - the Cathedral of the Transfiguration of the Lord - was turned into an economic warehouse in 1930, and a reference labor colony is still located on the territory of the monastery (here A. Makarenko carried out the first experience of mass re-education of delinquent children).
